SERVICES

K9 TRACKING
No technology can replicate a dog's keen sense of smell and their natural hunting instinct. The partnership between handler and dog is crucial. Our dog, Echo, has been trained by her handler starting as young as a few months old creating a deep bond with a handler who can read her every cue.

THERMAL DRONE
Equipped with advanced thermal imaging technology, our drone can detect the body heat of deer even in dense foliage or low-light conditions. This enhanced bird's eye view allows us to quickly determine if a deer is dead or alive, minimizing suffering and ensuring more effective recovery efforts.
DOG VS. DRONE

A common debate in the hunting world - which is better? Although we tend to be more partial to the dog, we believe having both in the tool box creates the best deer recovery combo.

The dog gives you the story behind the deer & provides vital feedback along the way. It will show every wound bed and direction change. Finding blood or fecal matter along the track can paint a much bigger picture of where the animal has been hit. A dog will tell you if you are wrong in your initial observation, and can run much longer than a drone. Dogs can locate deer submerged in water. In areas heavily populated with coyotes, dogs have the advantage as coyotes can devour a carcass in less than 12 hours - making it hard for a drone to pick up heat signatures.

A drone’s biggest asset is its efficiency. It can quickly locate a deer in a smaller radius and determine if that deer is alive or dead. Although the conditions must be right for a drone to work effectively and range can be hindered in diverse terrain.
RECOVERIES
We have thousands of miles of successful deer recoveries under our belt in the southern Ohio, northern Kentucky & southeastern Indiana areas. Each track is unique and the smiles from successful recoveries speak for themselves.
